Education has become a prominent component of the crypto space. In a decisive move to develop consciousness regarding blockchain and cryptocurrencies over the country, the Ukrainian government declared a new web series. Ukraine Ministry of Digital Transformation launches a new web series. It intends to educate citizens about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies via the new web series.
Ukraine’s new web series to certify viewers who successfully complete the series.
The first episode of the web series premiered on YouTube. The first episode “Where did cryptocurrencies come from?” familiarizes spectators about the basics of digital assets and their sources. Accompanying the Ukrainian government, are industry players such as Hacken, Binance, and Crystal Blockchain. They are also contributing to the project. Moreover, the web series is a part of the government’s “Diia. Digital Education” program.
The web series will last for weeks, including eight episodes. Every episode ranges for six to twelve minutes. It is managed by local businessman and former banker Andriy Onistrat. Moreover, it will also involve interviews with various top industry players. Apart from teaching viewers, the course will also certify those who succeed to watch all episodes. The government wishes to utilize these videos to deliver enhanced digital financial literacy in the country.
For the uninformed, the Ukrainian government has been dispensing accurate signs towards adopting digital assets for a long time to support its citizens to adopt blockchain technology. Additionally, regulators in Ukraine are on generous terms with crypto-related entities to further encourage adoption. The Ukrainian government states that it aspires to continue to educate its citizens about the importance of utilizing Bitcoin as a payment medium. Also, the government of Ukraine desires to use this medium to inspire other European countries to supplant its lead and commence preparing their citizens about the aspects of blockchain technology.
Various governments and private institutions have made some significant progress on this front across the globe. In September, peer-to-peer cryptocurrency exchange Paxful announced that it has broken ground on a new school in Nigeria. Moreover, the school is a part of the company’s #BuildWithBitcoin initiative. It plans to utilize its sources to implement quality education in developing economies.
