Gemini Lists Uniswap’s UNI and 14 Other DeFi Tokens
Crypto exchange Gemini expands on its decentralized finance ecosystem approach by adding 15 new DeFi tokens. It includes UNI and YFI tokens.

Recently, as DeFi expansion continues, various crypto exchanges worldwide are speeding up to list as many popular DeFi tokens as possible. US-based Gemini has made a similar move. Gemini lists as many as 15 new tokens. American crypto exchange Gemini has announced the addition of 15 new decentralized finance (DeFi) tokens today, including Uniswap (UNI) and Yearn.finance (YFI). The announcement elucidates that the exchange has full confidence in the potential of DeFi. Additionally, it states that it aims to help lead the new wave of growth and financial innovation.

Gemini has listed Uniswap (UNI), Balancer (BAL), Curve (CRV), Ren Network (REN), Synthetix Network (SNX), Uma (UMA), and yearn.finance (YFI). The exchange is also accessible for trading coins that were only supported for custody earlier. It includes Decentraland (MANA), Kyber Network (KNC), Maker (MKR), Ox (ZRX), and Storj (STORJ). However, it added three tokens recently to provide custody support. It includes Wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC), Keep Network (KEEP), and tBTC (tBTC).
Gemini Provides Custody Services for 24 Tokens
Nevertheless, Gemini now provides trading and custody services for a total of 24 tokens. The move also made Gemini the first regulated platform that allows trading and custody in the State of New York for several DeFi tokens. It includes BAL, KNC, CRV, MKR, SNX, REN, STORJ, UNI, UMA, YFI, AND ZRX.
Among all the listed token, Uniswap is one of the most successful ones. Notwithstanding its very current launch, the token became one of the most widely distributed DeFi coins. As we reported earlier, Ethereum-based decentralized exchange Uniswap has launched its governance token UNI just over a week ago. It is one of the most distributed tokens in DeFi. The DEX beast announced UNI’s launch ahead of the Version 3 release of the exchange with a deluge of airdrop raining down users.
