The cryptocurrency exchange, Crypto.com, announced that citizens from Canada can now apply for its Visa card as the company prepared to ship cards to Canada by January 2021. Crypto.com has launched visa cards over various locations globally in current years, and the exchange intends to benefit from it by swiftly expanding into the Canadian market with the newest initiative.

Crypto.com launched its visa card in Singapore in October 2018. The company grabbed the limelight with the launch in the U.S. in July 2019. The recent destination for crypto.com was Europe, as the platform provided its card services in the region in April this year. Moreover, the card has no annual or monthly fee, and users can withdraw from ATMs without any charges. 

Visa cards from Crypto.com does not inflict transaction charges.

In accordance with the blog post, the card is devoid of any transaction charges. Furthermore, it offers a 100% deduction for Netflix, Spotify, and Amazon Prime. It also provides airport lounge admittance for elected card ranges. Consumers can utilize the app to control their cards, transactions, and suspend or unfreeze their cards without taking much effort. The app also enables users to securely purchase, store, sell, send, and track cryptocurrencies. It also facilitates the usage of fiat currency that transforms from cryptocurrency devoid of exchange fees.

Crypto.com is one of the leading crypto payment card solutions. It plans to achieve broader adoption across the globe. It operates as an app and a debit card. The card transactions are designated in fiat currencies. However, the app allows users to purchase, trade, send, earn interest, and accept crypto assets. It also enables users to utilize credit services and decentralized finance apps. Recently, crypto.com serves 5 million users worldwide. 

Canada has gained extensive fame in current years as a hub for crypto companies. Earlier, Canadian FinTech startup, Wealthsimple launched its crypto platform. It provides users commission-free trading of Bitcoin and Ethereum. Moreover, Canadians can instantly buy and sell stocks, bonds, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies in a wholly regulated licensed environment. The exchange does not charge any withdrawal or deposit fees. Instead, the exchange inflicts users’ trading fees.
