Intricate Details about the Collaboration between Gemini and Blockchange

The collaboration combines Blockchange’s recently announced BITRIA™ Digital Turnkey Asset Management Platform (DTAMP) with Gemini’s exchange and custody solution. It helps in delivering an institutional-grade option for RIAs. They want to exhibit their clients to digital assets for enhanced returns and risk alleviation. This is particularly important for younger investors, who have demonstrated a strong and developing interest in digital assets.

Quantum Capital Management, a wealth management firm with about $125M assets under management, has inked on the solution. It will manage digital assets for its clients. Moreover, it will also allow digital asset management services to other RIAs utilizing a separately managed account approach. Additionally, this will enable firms to with little to no knowledge of the digital asset ecosystem to participate with confidence. Thus, this will eventually accelerate the asset class’s adoption.

Quantum to Secure Digital Assets

The Blockchange-Gemini solution will enable Quantum and other RIAs to securely manage digital assets over their entire client bases or in individual client portfolios. However, it provides various advantages that differentiate it from index funds and digital hedge funds. Additionally, it involves superior tax benefits, more in-depth customization and flexibility, and ownership of the underlying assets.

“We appreciate the opportunity to work with Quantum because they understand the potential of digital assets, and together we can create value that other, more conservative firms will miss out on,” said Dan Eyre, CEO of Blockchange. “Gemini is the perfect partner for Blockchange to offer digital asset management capabilities to RIAs. As the only qualified custodian of exchange assets, client money always remains with a qualified custodian, and this is an absolute requirement for RIAs to deploy the solution.”

Noah Perlman, Chief Operating Officer of Gemini, said: “Building solutions with the needs of wealth advisors and other institutional professionals in mind paves the way for more investors to get involved in the powerful network of digital assets.”
